My story

I didn't plan on becoming a lender. After graduating from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, I was job hunting with no luck when I accidentally paid my credit card twice and overdrew my account at Community Resource Credit Union. I went in hoping to get a $29.50 overdraft fee back. I sat down with the branch manager, we started talking about life, and I walked out with a job offer as a bank teller. Looking back, I can see how God put me in that credit union that day.

Over five years there, I held four roles (teller, member service representative, personal financial officer and mortgage loan officer) and learned lending from the ground up: credit, underwriting, and nearly every kind of home loan, from FHA, VA and USDA to construction, land and cash-out refinances. In 2020, I earned my mortgage loan originator license and joined Guarantee Mortgage, where I've been for more than six years.

More than ten years in finance and 600+ families later, I still love making a confusing process simple. These days I especially love helping families who are selling one home and buying the next, because that's when good guidance matters most.

I grew up in Baytown and have lived in Mont Belvieu since 2018. My three kids (13, 6 and 5) keep life busy. We love being outdoors together, whether it's swimming, playing sports, or heading out on a family adventure, and I'm always on the sidelines cheering them on. When you work with me, you're working with your neighbor.
